Green marketing: Keep your business eco-friendly
All of us are doing our bit to contribute to the rising environmental efforts, and these days it’s almost crucial for a business to be seen to be doing the same. Many business owners believe that taking on such schemes are simply too much hassle, but there are plenty of ways you can cut down on materials without rising costs.
Recycle. Many councils offer a subsidy and even rewards for recycling office materials. Look into the system where you are.
Re-use. Cardboard boxes can be used again by flat-packing them down and putting them up again when you need them. Equally, smaller things such as using both sides of a piece of paper when you print something out or ceramic mugs instead of paper cups will reduce the amount of waste in your office.
Re-think. Your office may need a complete overhaul if you’re really trying to switch to a greener way of running. According to British Assessment, a recent Defra study showed that becoming environmentally friendly improves profit margins, so don’t be scared to take on new ideas and research some of the top energy-saving office tips.
If you’re concerned that your marketing scheme uses too much paper, you can obtain responsibly-sourced personalised flyers, business cards and brochures from Flyerzone.
