Christmas cards: planning early
It may only be November, but the first signs of Christmas are already becoming obvious – Christmas lights are being switched on, the festive chocolates have hit the shops, and the shops are buzzing with anticipation as businesses get ready for the busiest period of the retail year.
It’s at this time that those of us at Flyerzone start thinking about the practicalities of Christmas. While it may be too early to start celebrating just yet, there’s certainly something to be said for being one step ahead. Getting your Christmas card list started now will save you a lot of hassle when you’re trying to sort out decorations and gifts, and it will allow you the time to be creative and do something different! These are some of our favourite ideas:
Personalised Christmas cards: Having your own cards printed up is a great way to wish friends and relatives a happy Christmas – use a festive picture of yourself or go for the classic awkward family photograph! You can have Christmas cards printed straight from our website, click here to find out more.
Make your own gift vouchers: Not sure whether to send a present or not? Send old friends and far away family you own gift vouchers, such as “Coffee for two in 2013” – just to let them know you’re still thinking of them.
Glitter cards: A fun practical joke and a great way to inject some colour into a friend’s house, simply pack your envelope with glitter before sending it on its way, ensuring the recipient gets covered with sparkles when they open it!
